Qualification and Skills
Richard has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick. Through this degree, he has developed skills in data analysis, programming and system modelling. He has attended a qualitative research course run by the Market Research Society.
Background and experience
Richard joined Databuild as a researcher in February 2009, working on projects for UKAS and Envirowise among others. Richard then became an Assistant Research Manager, involved in all aspects of project delivery.
Since becoming an Assistant Research Manager he has worked on behalf of the Australian Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, as well as the Energy Saving Trust and WRAP in the UK.
Richard has successfully managed teams of researchers interviewing British and Australian businesses, as well as conducting data analysis and compiling reports. During his time as an Assistant Research Manager, he has developed skills in qualitative interviewing and moderating focus groups on behalf of Business Link. He has also successfully carried out project pilots and communicated findings to clients.
