Qualifications and skills
Charlotte has a degree in history and politics (joint honours) from the University of Leicester and an MSc in international relations from the University of Bristol.
She specialises in the research management stream of the company and is committed to meeting client’s needs through the collection of high quality and robust data. She has completed training on different management styles and techniques and has a certificate from the Train the Trainer course.
Background and experience
Charlotte joined Databuild as a telephone researcher in 2007 and was promoted to a research management position in the same year.
She has worked on a number of projects for clients such as the Energy Saving Trust and WRAP (the Waste and Resources Action programme). She is closely involved in the methodology stage of projects by helping to design questionnaires and develop sample frames that meet the objectives of the client.
Charlotte is also responsible for managing the data collection of research projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget whilst meeting project and client objectives. She is adept at training and working with researchers to ensure that insights from data collection are fed into the reporting process.
Currently Charlotte is conducting a review of the company’s recruitment proceedures for qualitative interviewing and is developing some best practice guidelines. She is also working closely with the senior researchers to train and develop them.
