Qualification and Skills
John has a degree in history and politics (joint honours) from the University of Birmingham. He is an experienced qualitative researcher and focus group moderator.
Background and experience
John joined Databuild having previously worked in business logistics. Initially John provided support across all project areas and has an excellent understanding of the research process. His particular strengths lay in the consultancy side of the business and he was recently made a Consultant.
John now specialises in methodology development, data analysis, reporting and presentation of research findings. John also conducts qualitative research and focus groups on various projects.
He has worked with a variety of clients but is usually involved in projects focused upon energy efficiency, renewable energy, planning, building and architecture.
Away from research specific activities, John has provided input to recruitment of staff and is involved with staff training and development.
