WRAP
WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) helps individuals, businesses and local authorities to reduce waste and recycle more, making better use of resources and helping to tackle climate change. We have researched a wide range of waste, recycling and reprocessing issues for WRAP including:
- Stakeholder research which covered all WRAP’s main audiences and explored awareness and use of WRAP’s services and their perceptions of WRAP.
- Business behaviour change which looked at organisations’ behaviour in the areas of interest to WRAP.
- Schools recycling survey which we conducted in 2007 to identify which materials were collected from schools and also to explore the work that authorities did with schools
- Glass collection from licensed retail premises we conducted two annual surveys of the collection of glass from licensed retail premises. Among other aspects, these surveys explored the services provided by local authorities in their areas.
- Understanding WRAP’s evaluation needs - we conducted the independent review of WRAP’s evaluation methodology for the 2006-8 and 2008-11 Business Plans.
