Planning Advisory Service (PAS)
Funded by CLG, and managed by the IDeA, PAS helps councils to provide faster, fairer, more efficient and better quality planning services and local development plans.The type of work we have carried out for PAS includes:

Quarterly impact assessment of PAS’ activities since its inception in 2004 and planned to continue until 2011. Quantitative and qualitative interviews with multiple representatives in local authority planning departments, exploring awareness, use, satisfaction, action taken, and suggested improvements.

Evaluations of specific PAS support services to targeted groups, including elected member training, planning delivery agreements assistance (now planning performance agreements), local development framework support, and departmental efficiency and application processing support.
